When looking at starting a business, venturing into a certain career path or bettering that which is already there, it is paramount that we analyze ourselves. What is your motive going into this? Is it God’s will?

Mathew 6:33
But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.

Your assignment in the marketplace has Kingdom at its core. How does your business expand the Kingdom? Assuming you’re employed, is your conduct and competence good enough to evangelize without you opening your mouth?

Mark16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

The dispatching of Christians in the marketplace is part of God’s end-time strategy to ensure the gospel will be preached in all the world. Even the shepherd went into the wilderness in search of that one lost sheep. The marketplace is that wilderness and where the King’s wandering sheep can be found.
You are the light of the world, not the Kingdom. Constraining yourself to the four walls of the church is putting your light under a bushel. The candlestick in this context is the marketplace. Where men can see it.

Revelation 3:15-17
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would that thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Lastly, you must be intentional about not compromising. The kingdom emissaries in the marketplace must be radical and uncompromising. The minute you shift your eyes from the assignment and begin pursuing unrighteous Marmon, he will possess your soul. The end goal is not money, the end goal is souls, it is Kingdom.

From the second of May 2023, the opposition leader has been holding protests that have been anything but peaceful. It may look trivial but a closer look at the chaos and the destruction that has followed, and we see there is a desperate need for prayer.
In Romans 8, we learn that everything on the earth was subjected to futility because of man’s sin. Man is created in the image and likeness of God. When he sinned, creation both “living and non-living,” was affected. The land, for example, was cursed because of Adam’s sin;

Genesis 3:17-18
And unto Adam, he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
If by a man, the land was cursed, then by a man the land can be redeemed. The problem is when that man is not found;
Ezekiel 22:30
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Sodom and Gomorrah is an example of what will become of a land that lacks an intercessor.
Isaiah 1:19
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

If you will obey the Lord, then the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 will come to pass in our nation. We are not wasting time by praying. There is something that happens when there is alignment with God. It’s about yielding to the will of God. The blessing of God maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. The blessing of the Lord is able to do more than what we can be able to achieve for ourselves.

1 Timothy 2:1-2
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

As we have discussed, in the previous chapter; ministry is not limited to the four walls of the church. It’s pretty ignorant to think we can ignore the matters of the nation and thrive because we’re Christians. So what should we do at this time when the economy is seemingly collapsing, The citizens are raging and the God-appointed leader is no longer the majority’s cup of tea? We should travail.

Isaiah 66:8
Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this?
Can a country be born in a day? or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labour, than she gives birth to her children.

Women in Marriage

A transaction is an action involving two parties, reciprocating activities that result in mutual influence. On the other hand, an agreement is a transaction, trade or settlement. This transaction is not just between you, your spouse and God. There are many other witnesses when you exchange your vows and so there are influences from either side.

Do married people influence each other?
Yes;
Psalms 45:10-11 (A wedding song)

Listen, O daughter, give attention and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house; Then the King will desire your beauty. Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him.
Earthly marriages are a reflection of the marriage between us, the church, and Christ. If you want your marriage to last, you need to understand this divine dynamic.
These are some of the changes that follow after marriage;
1.Your status: From single to married, you become a helper. You were not born as one. You have to adapt and be of suitable help to your husband.
2.You are becoming a good thing to your husband. A good and beneficial addition to your husband as you submit to him.
3.You are now getting into a new kingdom, from your Father to your Husband (your King)
You cannot move into your King’s kingdom with the constitution of your Father’s Kingdom. You have to conform to the new constitution and intentionally leave old habits in the old Kingdom.
In Genesis, during the escape from Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot’s wife was not present. She longed for the familiar and we both know how that story ends. Marriage is a call to unchartered waters, a new kingdom with a new constitution.
Submission and beauty go hand in hand. The King is fascinated when you submit. A wife’s beauty is expressed by showing reverence, submission and service to her husband’s government. You must be ready to leave (your father’s house) and cleave (to your husband). Trade the familiar for the unfamiliar.

The concept of ceaseless prayer seems highly unattainable for the average Christian. When we hear that we envision a Kingdom SWAT soldier who fasts for six months at least twice a year, and faced with the evidence of our insufficiency we think to ourselves, “must be nice.”
Scratch that and let us reexamine prayer again;
What is prayer?
Prayer is earthly permission for heavenly interference.
How do we pray?
By communing and communicating with God.

Before I continue any further, let me make it clear that I am not discrediting prayer as we know it. I am not denying the significance of spiritual labors I am only exposing another dimension of an infinite God.

Proverbs 18:24
A man of many companions will soon come to ruin,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

With this in mind; take a deep breath and talk to this friend who sticks closer than a brother. Find out about His burden as you share your own and finally address His burden as you leave Him to address yours. No feeling is invalid, no detail is trivial. Pour out your heart.
